Zafer Unar, who has many years of experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, has assumed the role of CEO and Board Member at NextPlus Health Group. Unar began his career in 2002 in the Affiliated Institutions Department at Yapı Kredi Insurance and subsequently held various positions at Allianz, Florence Nightingale Hospital, Tim Claims Consulting, and Bupa Acıbadem Insurance. During this time, he gained significant experience in health insurance, healthcare services management, operational processes, and corporate partnerships. Unar’s areas of expertise include health claims analysis and solution development processes, broker management, preventive healthcare services, telehealth management, and health technologies. NextPlus Health Group continues its operations with an approach that views health not merely as a service provided when illness strikes, but as a preventive, technology-focused ecosystem that analyzes risks in advance and increases accessibility. The company aims for this high-level appointment to support its growth strategy within the health and insurance ecosystem. With his industry expertise and management experience, Unar is expected to contribute to the company’s efforts in preventive healthcare, remote health management, corporate health solutions, and insurance support services. A graduate of Istanbul University’s Department of International Relations, Zafer Unar also completed the e-MBA program at Özyeğin University.
