PASSPORT CONTROLS IN THE ISTANBUL AIRPORT IS GETTING FASTER

There wıll be a total of 30 quıck passport control system ın the aırport of whıch 16 wıll be ın arrıval, 10 ın departure and 4 ın transfer areas
Test studies of a new system that will provide passengers to pass the passport control faster in the Istanbul Airport have been started. It is aimed to save people time with “Quick Passport Control System” which will be carried out by Directorate General of Security (EGM) and Istanbul Airport Operator İGA. Thanks to this system, the passengers will be able to pass the passport control within 18-20 seconds after the face recognition and fingerprints checks. The system has produced by EGM Information, Department of Communication Technologies and a local firm.
