VALUE-BASED INVESTMENT PERIOD IN THE TURKISH REAL ESTATE MARKET

The year 2025 was a particularly eventful one for the Turkish real estate market. The 8.7% increase in sales, exceeding 3.3 million, is the clearest indicator of this. Frankly, this picture shows that real estate is still seen as a strong “value preservation tool” for both individual and institutional investors in Türkiye.
As an architect, what I see most clearly in the field is this: Investors are now focusing more on architectural quality, living experience, and projects that will retain their value in the long term, rather than just location. While demand in major cities is becoming more selective, interest in new living spaces is increasing in developing regions. At the same time, renovation and urban transformation projects are adding significant dynamism to the market by making the existing building stock more contemporary and functional.
From the perspective of international investors, Türkiye continues to increase its appeal with its strategic location, strong tourism potential, and opportunities it offers in different segments. Of course, currency fluctuations and process management require attention, but with the right project selection and the right team, I believe that Türkiye will continue to be a promising and rising market for investment in the coming period.
