Our Council held a sectoral consultation meeting in two separate events with the participation of Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye and Deputy Minister Alpaslan Bayraktar, in order for evaluating the situation for our members following the post-pandemic closures in 2020. In 2020, ICCI 2020 was attended and a panel was organized under the control of our Council. In December, we attended the Roundtable Meeting within the scope of the Turkish-German Energy Forum and discussed the energy market and developments in 2020. In 2021, at the Eurasian Cogeneration Conference, where the private sector, public, and academics from different countries participated online, cogeneration technologies, financing, incentives, and best practices were discussed under the theme of electricity and heat generation. Sector companies operating in the field of waste management in Türkiye and Finland came together and held the “Türkiye-Finland Energy Cooperation: Waste-to-Energy” event in order to develop commercial relations. Participating in the InterSolar exhibition in Munich in-person, our members had the opportunity to introduce our developing solar energy and panel technologies to international stakeholders. Our webinar, in which the impact of decarbonization targets on the energy sector was evaluated, was held in December with the participation of our EU Ambassador Kemal Bozay and international speakers who are experts in their fields, and the hydrogen-based energy transformation processes that have just started in Europe and financing tools were introduced to the public. We went to Algeria in November, and in Azerbaijan in December for attending the Türkiye-Algeria and Türkiye-Azerbaijan Energy Forums under the chairmanship of Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, and a series of meetings were held to increase the business volume of our members.
